fuck people who blame america’s problems on the government when the real root of the issue is them. how can the government decrease the economic deficit when the people want the institution to maintain all the benefits it offered before the economic crash? how can the government revive the economy when young people of the occupy movements refuse to take jobs they believe are below them? how can the government promote peace when communities are plagued with discrimination? how can the government even begin to reform itself when politicians cannot genuinely express their beliefs because all they worry about is winning elections and re-elections. how can the government stop our children from starving when assholes like donald trump live in skyscrapers with gold toilets? the problems start with us and therefore must end with us. we’re getting to a point where we will have no choice: either we stop being selfish and start considering the bigger picture or we destroy ourselves
